In 1979, Ken Grossman began building a small brewery in the town of Chico, California. His goal: to brew exceptional ales and lagers. Today, the Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. is considered the premier craft brewery in the United States. And the beer? Critics proclaim it among the best brewed anywhere in the world. An avid backpacker, Ken named the new company for his favorite hiking grounds- the Sierra Nevada mountains. To this day, the Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. remains true to its roots. Ken is still personally involved in every aspect of brewery operation. Most importantly, the Sierra Nevada commitment to quality remains the same. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale

Sierra Nevada Otra Vez Gose

On our search for the perfect warm weather beer, we wanted something light bodied and thirst quenching, yet filled with complex and interesting flavors. We stumbled across the fruit of the prickly pear cactus, native to California. This tangy fruit is a great complement to the tart and refreshing traditional gose style beer. Otra Vez combines prickly pear cactus with a hint of grapefruit for a refreshing beer that will have you calling for round after round.

Sierra Nevada Nooner
Session IPA | ABV: 4.5

Sierra Nevada Torpedo

Sierra Nevada and hops go hand in hand. What began as a crazy idea scribbled in a pub eventually became their newest year-round hop bomb, Torpedo Extra IPA. The first beer to feature their "Hop Torpedo" - a revolutionary dry-hopping device that controls how much hop aroma is imparted into beer without adding additional bitterness. Torpedo Extra IPA is an aggressive yet balanced beer with massive hop aromas of citrus, pine and tropical fruit.

Sierra Nevada Porter

Sierra Nevada Stout

Before Sierra Nevada was a reality, its founders brewed beer at home and dreamed of building a brewery one day. Back then, they brewed the beers they wanted to drink - bold and full of flavor. Stouts had always been a favorite, so when they needed a big and rich beer to test out the brewing system at the fledgling brewery, stout was the obvious choice. Thirty years later, not much has changed.
